About RCLP
River City Legal Professionals, Inc. ("RCLP") is a non-profit, non-political, legal organization dedicated to providing quality legal education to those who are employed in the legal field or employed by state, city-parish, or governmental agencies, banks, mortgage companies or other companies affiliated with the legal field.
As I begin my second term as President of RCLP, I would like to thank the members who have accepted Board and Chairmen positions. We have a great group of ladies involved in our organization, and I hope
each and every member will continue to attend our monthly meetings and take an active role in RCLP.
A joint meeting of the Board and Chairmen was held on January 17, 2012, where we discussed the goals set for RCLP in 2012. One of those goals is to recruit new members and, to help with this goal, letters were mailed last month to the administrators of 40+ firms in the Baton Rouge area, providing some insight into our organization and inviting members of their staff to join RCLP.
We will also try to target some of the companies in the area who have their own in-house counsel. If you know of any company, please email this information to Irene Deist. The Board and Chairmen are always open to new ideas and any
suggestions to help RCLP continue to thrive.
