River City Legal Professionals, Inc. ("RCLP") is a non-profit, non-political, legal organization dedicated to providing quality legal education to those who are employed in the legal field or employed by state, city-parish, or governmental agencies, banks, mortgage companies or other companies affiliated with the legal field.
It is hard to believe the end of the year is almost here. We are finally beginning to see cooler weather and the holidays are right around the corner. Everyone will be getting ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Before we get into the hustle and bustle of shopping and parties, we must remember to take some time to be thankful for all our blessings which have been bestowed upon us throughout the year. We also must be grateful for the freedoms we have and for all of the people who put their lives on the line to serve and protect this wonderful country. That being said, some family members of Marine Lane Cpl. Clark Cavalier will be present at our November meeting to accept our donation. I hope that everyone can attend this meeting to show our support to Clark Cavalier’s family.
Since it is the end of the year, it is time to get nominations in for the Executive Board. A nomination form is attached to the newsletter. If you would like to nominate someone, so it will not be a surprise to that person, please check with the person you wish to nominate to see if they will accept the nomination. The Executive Board will be introduced at the December meeting. Please email your nomination form to: dale.gray@taylorporter.com by December 2, 2011.
